Our Mission
Our mission is simple: to make Downtown Euclid a beautiful, safe, and lively place to live, work, and enjoy. By maintaining the streetscape, promoting walkability, and fostering strong partnerships, DEIC helps create a downtown that feels welcoming, active, and connected to the community.

The Downtown Euclid Improvement Corporation (DEIC) believes in the power of collaboration to create a vibrant, walkable, and thriving downtown. As a Special Improvement District (SID), DEIC brings together property owners, businesses, and community partners to enhance Downtown Euclid and support its long-term success.

Through a shared commitment to place, people, and partnership, the district works to strengthen the local economy, improve the public realm, and create a downtown that residents, visitors, and business owners are proud to support.

How the District Works

What is a Special Improvement District?

A Special Improvement District (SID) is a defined area where property owners work together to fund and support services that enhance the district. Through a dedicated assessment, property owners collectively invest in programs that improve the public realm and strengthen the local economy.

In Downtown Euclid, the SID allows stakeholders to collaborate on services and initiatives that benefit businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

How it Works in Downtown Euclid

Property owners within the district contribute through an annual assessment that funds district services and programs. These resources support initiatives such as maintenance, events, marketing, and placemaking efforts.

The district is guided by a board of stakeholders and implemented through coordinated planning, partnerships, and community engagement to ensure services align with district priorities.
